The news feed is a generic term for a Facebook page that lists posts by you and other users. This feed is also where this script collects your game bonuses for you.
Wall Manager 2.0+ does not actually use a feed page on facebook, but instead queries the information about your news feed from the facebook Graph API. This allows WM 2 to get posts without having to deal with page filters imposed by you or by facebook, or to wait hideous amounts of time waiting for graphics and linked objects to load into the page.
